Body found after Highland Park house fire

September 24, 2012 (HIGHLAND PARK, Ill.) (WLS) -- A body was found inside a home in north suburban Highland Park.

The fire started just before 2 a.m. Monday in a ranch style home in the 1700- block of Midland. The fire spread to a neighboring house, but those homeowners were able to extinguish it.

Firefighters found the body inside the first home. An investigation into what caused the fire is now underway.
