Police search for driver in hit-and-run death

November 4, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who killed a pedestrian on the Northwest Side.

It happened Saturday night at Diversey and North Mason.

The victim was identified as 20-year-old Jose Alfredo Sosa.

He was crossing the street when the car hit him.

Police are looking for a dark-colored Mercury Marquis with front end damage.

It has an Illinois license plate R336195.

Anyone with information is asked to call Chicago Police.
