Naperville to host marathon in 2013

  

December 8, 2012 (NAPERVILLE, Ill.) (WLS) -- Organizers in Naperville say they are planning a marathon next year that they hope will be a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon.

ABC7 News' media partner, The Daily Herald, reports the 2013 inaugural Naperville Marathon and half-marathon is planned for November 10.

Organizer Bob Hackett says participation in the first race will be capped at 4-thousand runners.
