Man shot in Chicago State University parking lot

January 16, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A man was shot in a parking lot at Chicago State University Wednesday night, according to Chicago police.

The 20-year-old victim was shot in the back and was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, according to authorities.

The shooting happened near 95th and King Drive around 9:20 p.m., officials said.
