The special prosecutor in a case involving former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley's nephew R. J. Vanecko will no longer bill Cook County for attorney fees in the investigation.

Dan Webb indicted Vanecko in December 2012 on a charge of involuntary manslaughter in the death of David Koschman and will do any further work on the case pro-bono.

Koschman died in a drunken confrontation with Vanecko in 2004.
