ABC7 Chicago's WATCH ABC live stream app

July 1, 2013 (WLS) -- Watch ABC is a brand new way to experience ABC7 programming anytime, anywhere in the Chicago area.

Here's how you download it:

The new WATCH ABC app puts ABC7 in your hands, kind of like having a TV set to go. To download the app, just go to watchabc.com, or go to your device's app store and search "WATCH ABC."

Once you download the app, to view the live stream just make sure you're in the local viewing area and tap "get started." Tap "confirm your location" to allow the app to use your current location.

Watch ABC is a special new benefit brought to you by ABC7 and participating TV providers at no additional cost. Here in Chicago, that's Comcast Xfinity, AT&T U-Verse and Charter Communications.

Select your participating TV provider and sign in using your TV provider account ID and password. After this authentication, you'll be able to enjoy live streaming shows, like Good Morning America while you're on the way to work, Windy City LIVE at the gym, and all ABC7 Chicago local news. Remember, some program substitutions may apply.
