July 20, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- The sweet smell of barbecue filled North Avenue Beach from the world's largest smoker and grill on wheels.

The 80-foot long smoker and grill pulled up to the beach as part of a History Channel cross country tour.

For several hours Saturday, the grill master cooked up hickory sausage with jalapeno cheddar and gave it away for free.
