Mickey Mouse readying for 85th birthday

August 10, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Chicago is getting ready to celebrate the 85th birthday of Mickey Mouse.

Saturday morning a group of children gathered at the corner of Congress and Michigan to cheer for Mickey who will celebrate his major milestone 100 days from now.

Chicago is the birthplace of Mickey's creator, Walt Disney.

Disney is the parent company of ABC7.
