August 12, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Members of a Chicago church group say they were attacked by bedbugs while staying at a Kentucky hotel.
They're planning a lawsuit, and Monday night a hotel spokesperson says they will look into the issue.
Members of Christ Universal Pentacostal Church of Holiness in Christ were attending a convention.
Bishop Paul Hall says the group had paid the hotel nearly $4,000 in cash, and didn't have money to go elsewhere.
"I don't want a dime. I want the children and the mothers that was bitten something be done for them, either refund our money, give it to our children or pay these hospital bills," said Bishop Paul Hall, Christ Universal Pentacostal Church.
The hotel manager says an exterminator is coming Tuesday and she will need that report before deciding what to do.
