Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a UPS semi truck on the Reagan Memorial Tollway on Tuesday morning near west suburban Oak Brook.

The crash happened about 7:15 a.m. when the UPS truck was involved in a crash with two other vehicles on I-88 near Route 83, Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Sergio Ortiz said.

Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Ortiz said.

The trailer ripped open and some of the packages spilled out onto the tollway, Ortiz said.

The crash caused some delays during rush hour, but all lanes were cleared by about 10 a.m., Ortiz said.
