New Trier employee Timothy Barfield accused of stealing $2,600 from school

October 15, 2013 (WILMETTE, Ill.) (WLS) -- An employee of a north suburban high school has been arrested and accused of stealing from the school.

Timothy Barfield, 59, is the transportation coordinator at New Trier High School.

He is charged with a felony.

Prosecutors say he used his role to steal more than $2,600 from the district and some of its parents.
