Swine flu numbers tapering off

  

January 8, 2010 (WLS) -- The H1N1 flu outbreak seems to be easing in Illinois.

However, state health experts reported three new deaths Friday, bringing the total number of swine flu deaths in the state to 86.

Sixty-seven new hospitalizations have been reported.

Nearly 2,700 people have been hospitalized with the virus since April.
