August 9, 2013 (SPRINGFIELD, Ill.) -- Springfield Police are investigating after thieves managed to steal more than $3,100 in underwear from a Victoria's Secret store.
The (Springfield) State Journal-Register says about 60 bras were taken from the lingerie shop in White Oaks Mall on Wednesday evening.
Employees at the store say they believe the pricey pieces were taken by three women, who walked in together with unzipped purses.
Once they were inside, the trio split up and tried to distract employees.
