August 2, 2013 (INDIANAPOLIS) -- Authorities say two workers were briefly trapped under debris in the partial collapse of a restaurant building under construction in Terre Haute.
Fire Chief Jeff Fisher says one worker was on a building wall working on a wooden roof truss while another was in a bucket lift. Fisher tells the Tribune-Star (http://bit.ly/1cvn1RH ) that Thursday's collapse knocked over the lift, pinning one man under it and the other under the roof trusses.
One worker suffered a leg injury and was taken to an Indianapolis hospital, where he was listed in good condition. The other man was treated and released from a Terre Haute hospital.
The cause wasn't immediately determined for the collapse, which left wooden beams and masonry blocks for three walls for the planned Moe's Southwest Grill strewn about.
