An Indiana couple face charges for what the local sheriff is calling the worst case of neglect he's ever seen.
August 9, 2013 (VIGO COUNTY, Ind.) (WLS) -- An Indiana couple face charges for what the local sheriff is calling the worst case of neglect he's ever seen.
Police in Vigo County, Indiana removed two small children and a 74-year-old woman from a house, along with 21 dogs, two cats and a bird.
The state board of health has declared the home uninhabitable.
Kenneth Walling, 37, and his wife, 32-year old Tracy Walling, both face multiple neglect, and animal cruelty charges.
More charges may be forthcoming, according to the sheriff.
