September 6, 2013 (WLS) -- A man ran through a traffic stop, stole a bike at gunpoint and carjacked a Chevy Monte Carlo, according to police.
The incident occurred near Laramie and Ferdinand.
Police say the suspect ran from a traffic stop in Gary, Indiana, stole a bicycle at gunpoint in Hammond, Indiana and then carjacked a Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
The pursuit went from Hammond, Indiana to the West Side when the suspect fled the crash scene.
