February 12, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- The United States Hispanic Leadership Institute got its start 30 years ago. Back then it was known as the Midwest Voter Registration Education Project.
While the name has changed, the mission has not. The institute works to empower Latinos through the electoral process.
The organization's president, Dr. Juan Andrade Jr., joins us on this edition of NewsViews to discuss the upcoming national conference in Chicago.
