September 4, 2013 (Waukesha, WIS.) (WLS) -- A Wisconsin woman who says she was verbally assaulted by a bus driver wants that the driver fired. The incident was caught on camera.
Melinda Slick says she asked the driver to turn off the air conditioning last month in Waukesha, Wis. When the driver refused, Slick asked again. The driver eventually turned it off, but when Slick got off the bus Words were exchanged including comments on Slick's weight.
"I didn't know what to say. As soon as I stepped off the bus I just lost it. Tears just started flowing. I have struggled with weight my whole entire life. I've been bullied and picked on all through school because of it," Slick said.
The bus driver remains on the job but has been moved to another route.
