Purse-snatching suspect scared off by victim

June 27, 2012 (LYNN, Mass.) (WLS) -- Massachusetts police are looking for the woman responsible for a bold attempted purse-snatching attack.

Security cameras show the suspect pacing outside a liquor store before it happened as she readied to surprise her victim.

The victim, who did not know her attacker, hung on for dear life -- and for her purse -- eventually sending the suspect running with a few swift kicks.
