July 10, 2012 (ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) (WLS) -- A quick-thinking driver saved two children from oncoming traffic. A security camera outside an Albuquerque store captured the incident.
Two young children were locked in the van while their parents went into the convenience store.
One of the children shifted the van into gear.
As the van began to roll backwards a woman who was sitting in a nearby truck jumped out to help. Then her pickup truck started moving as well.
The truck rolled behind the van, blocking it from oncoming traffic.
The children were scared but unharmed.
