Cook County State's Attorney debate

ABC 7 Chicago, in conjunction with the League of Women Voters of Cook County, will broadcast "The Race For Cook County State's Attorney: The Democratic Candidates Debate."

The debate will air on ABC7 on Sunday, January 20 from 4 to 5 p.m. However, viewers can watch it on-demand now on ABC7Chicago.com. It's separated into six sections, all of which are posted above.

ABC 7 Chicago News Anchor/Reporter Kathy Brock will moderate the first televised debate with all six candidates for the office of Cook County State's Attorney.

The six candidates invited to debate include Tom Allen, Anita Alvarez, Tommy Brewer, Howard B. Brookins Jr., Robert J. Millan and Larry Suffredin.

The lone Republican in the race is Cook County Commissioner Tony Peraica.

Brock will be joined by a panel of journalists including Andy Shaw, political reporter, ABC 7 News; Craig Dellimore, political editor, WBBM Radio; and David Beery, political editor, the Daily Herald, who will question candidates on pertinent issues.
