Nearly a dozen labor unions have endorsed Tammy Duckworth's bid for Congress Monday.
In a statement, her campaign says the endorsements "reflect the support at the local, regional and national levels" for Duckworth. She's running in the 8th Congressional District against Raja Krishnamoorthi for the Democratic nomination.
Duckworth is a former official in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and ran an unsuccessful campaign for Congress in 2006.
