September 1, 2012 (CHARLOTTE, N.C.) (WLS) -- Some protest groups are already organizing in Charlotte, N.C., where Democratic delegates will be arriving over the next two days.
A group was out picketing what they say is too much investment in fossil fuel energy sources by the nation's largest banks.
Charlotte is among the nation's largest banking hubs.
More protests are planned throughout the duration of the convention, which wraps up Thursday night.
ABC7'S Alan Krashesky and political reporter Charles Thomas will be in Charlotte for the convention.
