Democrats rally to promote early voting

October 27, 2012 (ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.) (WLS) -- Democrats promoted early voting in a major way on Saturday afternoon.

Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky voted early and held a joint rally with congressional candidates Tammy Duckworth and Brad Schneider in Arlington Heights' Harmony Park.

Democrats nationwide have been urging supporters to vote early this year.

President Barack Obama flew to Chicago to cast his ballot early this past Thursday.
