Bill Daley commits to race for Illinois governor; 'exploratory' label removed from campaign

  

July 30, 2013 ( CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Democrat Bill Daley's campaign announced Tuesday that he is taking the "exploratory" label off of his bid for Illinois governor.

Daley also released a new video Tuesday pledging to help the people of Illinois.

Daley will face current Gov. Pat Quinn in the Democratic primary.
