ARLINGTON, Texas -- DeMarco Murray missed his fifth straight game because of a sprained left foot after the Dallas Cowboys de-activated the second-year running back before Sunday's 23-20 overtim win over the Cleveland Browns.Murray had been listed as doubtful on the official injury report. With a quick turnaround before Thursday's game against Washington, it's possible Murray will not play against the Redskins, either. Browns cornerback Joe Haden, meanwhile, was inactive for Sunday's loss with an abdominal injury sustained in practice last week. Haden is a key piece of a defense that is tied for sixth in the NFL with 10 interceptions. Second-year player Buster Skrine will start opposite Sheldon Brown. The Cowboys' Mackenzy Bernadeau made his first career start at center with Ryan Cook inactive because of a knee injury. Bernadeau played center some in the preseason when he was with Carolina. He took the bulk of the first-team snaps during the week of practice and worked with Tony Romo on snaps two hours before kickoff. Derrick Dockery started at right guard. Kevin Kowalski, who has only practiced for the last two weeks and was activated to the 53-man roster on Saturday, served as the backup center. He opened the season on the physically unable to perform list because of severe tendinitis that required surgery in training camp. Cornerback Mike Jenkins missed his second straight game because of a back injury. Wide receiver Andre Holmes, guard David Arkin, center Phil Costa and defensive end Sean Lissemore were also inactive. Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
