Danny Gokey to release new country song

November 10, 2009 (MILWAUKEE) -- The first single by "American Idol" finalist and Milwaukee native Danny Gokey will start being aired soon on country radio.

His debut song, "It's Only" will be released for purchase Dec. 15, with his full album being released next year.

The 29-year-old former church music director signed a contract in September with 19 Recordings/RCA Records Nashville. The label is shipping the song later this month to radio stations around the nation.

Gokey finished in the final three on the popular singing show. He performed with the American Idols Live! Tour 2009 this summer. Last week, Gokey called a country radio station in Milwaukee and debuted the single.
