March 9, 2007 (WLS) -- Arthur Murray Studios Chicago today announced a charity benefit supporting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The event will take place on March 9, 2007, in the beautiful Crystal Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Chicago and feature a "Celebrity Dance-Off" pairing local personalities with professional dance instructors. The program for the evening will also feature professional dance demonstrations with world-class dancers, general dancing, dessert, and the chance to be part of the ballroom dancing phenomenon right here in Chicago.
"We are thrilled to announce that we are gong to do it again!" said Jill DeMarlo, event founder and Arthur Murray Dance Centers Chicago franchisee. "For the second year in a row, Chicago celebrities and exciting guests are coming together to help an organization we admire and want to help, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation."
The 2007 event will once again feature head judge Nick Kosovich, most recently seen on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." In addition, celebrities from the 2006 event, including winner Rick Bayless and local television and radio personalities John Garcia, Ana Belaval, LeeAnn Trotter and Eileen Byrne plan to return for a special alumni performance.
