June 27, 2012 (WLS) -- Summer is in full swing and we have some really hot days coming up, which means plenty of outings to the pool and the beach.
Valerie Cahill, Aquatics Director at theYMCA and certified lifeguard trainer for the American Red Cross, joins us to talk about water safety.
Three Main Tips:
Never swim alone
Teach children to swim and float
Always wear a personal floation device
