October 6, 2013 (WLS) -- Now to some fun events for the whole family happening Sunday.

We begin in the northern suburbs where Grove Fest continues today from 11 until 5 in Glenview. There's folk music, dancing and nature walks. http://glenviewparks.org/index.php/facilities-parks/the-grove/events/

In Highland Park: the folks at the Heller Nature Center want us to tell you about their new outdoor exploration area called "Wander Woods." Kids will find simple tools and suggestions for exploring the outdoors. It's open from dawn until dusk and is free. http://www.pdhp.org/index.aspx?page=580

In west suburban Wheaton: the Cosley Zoo hosts Pumpkin Fest today. You can see the animals, buy a pumpkin or climb a straw pyramid. It's open from 9-until-5 today. Admission is five dollars for adults, kids are free. www.cosleyzoo.org/

And in Aurora: the Paws in the Park festival is from noon until four today in Lincoln Park. Vendors, trainers and demonstrators will have all sorts of suggestions for making life with your four-legged friend more fun. It's free! www.foxvalleyparkdistrict.org
