General Motors is promising better gas mileage on the new 2014 Corvette Stingray.

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will get 29 miles per gallon on the highway and 17 miles per gallon in the city.

The muscle car can get up to 30 miles per gallon when running in its "eco" mode.

The 7-speed manual transmission Corvette has a 455-horsepower 6.2 liter v-8 engine.

It hits dealerships this fall. Its base price is just under $52,000 dollars.
