July 17, 2009 (WLS) -- Beyonce came to Chicago with two goals: to help feed the hungry and to entertain her fans.
Beyonce was at the United Center on Friday night for her "I Am" tour.
The Grammy award-winning singer is also teaming up with General Mills to help deliver more than $3.5 million meals to food banks around the country.
"Giving back was something I was taught at an early age. I truly believe that God blesses us to bless other people," said Beyonce.
There are several ways to contribute. For more information on Beyonce's 'Show Your Helping Hand' campaign, visit www.showyourhelpinghand.com.
