Chill and Grill Festival

June 7, 2012 (CHICAGO) -- Better Homes and Gardens and Weber take over Chicago's Waveland Park in the Lakeview area Saturday and Sunday for the Chill and Grill Festival.

Enjoy delicious food tastings from local restaurants including Black Dog Gelato, Chicago Cut Steakhouse, Foodlife, GT Fish & Oyster, Hearty, Hot Chocolate, Mercat a la Planxa, Nacional 27, Weber Grill Restaurant and West Town Tavern. The weekend family festival is complete with restaurant tastings, celebrity grilling demonstrations, hands-on grilling classes, live music, kids' activities and more.

Admission to the festival is free; however food tastings and Weber classes will require ticket purchase. Tasting cards are available for purchase now on the festival web site: bhgchillandgrill.com.

Domenica Catelli is a celeb chef and recurring judge on the Food Network's hit cooking competition show Iron Chef America. She demonstrates how to make Grilled Strawberry Shortcake Pizza. This delicious recipe is from BHG's June issue AND it's a dish that Domenica will be creating at the Chill and Grill Festival (Sunday, 3:30- 4 pm in the Seminar Area)
