August 12, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- The Arlington Heights Memorial Library, the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre and the Village's Arts Commission are returning for the 7th annual Teen Film Fest.
This event showcases teens and their original films, which present creative, off-beat, and funny topics while demonstrating a mastery of digital media. The fest also brings the community together to watch the teen films and celebrate their creative expression. It is a powerful experience for teens to share their work and have it celebrated on the big screen with encouragements from a professional daily newspaper film critic.
Teen Services @ Arlington Heights Memorial Library - Teen Services establishes a culture of learning and exploration through dynamic programs and experiences in the library and throughout the community. Arlington Heights Library is dedicated to providing teens the opportunity to creatively explore, learn and generate digital media in our library.
Metropolis - Metropolis' School of the Performing Arts offers classes and lessons in drama, music and dance for teens and students of all ages year round including many performance opportunities where students' work is showcased on Metropolis' main stage.
The 7th Arlington Heights Teen Film Fest is Friday, August 16th from 7-9 pm at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Arlington Heights. Tickets are FREE! Call 847.506.2629 to reserve your seats.
