DOGGIE MAKEOVERS

July 19, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- We end our week-long celebration of the Dogs Days Summer with a Doggie Makeover. All the deserving dogs were rescued by Felines & Canines , a cage-less, no-kill shelter on the north side of the city.

The free grooming was provided by the nearby "Jameson Loves Danger". Kelly Thompson from Felines & Canines tell us about each one of these pooches that are all available for adoption.

All of the dogs' grooming was provided by our friends at "Jameson Loves Danger" located at 5208 N Clark Street in Chicago.

And coming up in September is Felines & Canines largest annual fundraiser. "Partying for Pets" on Sunday, September 15 from 5-9 p.m. This dog-friendly event takes place at the gorgeous Prairie Productions Studio on Randolph St. in Chicago and offers amazing food, drinks, entertainment and a silent auction.
