Sean Tehrani, executive chef and proprietor of Basil Leaf Café, demonstrates several recipes from the café featuring basil.

½ ounce ginger syrup
6 Basil Leaves, 2 torn
2 ounces of Basil Vodka
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
3-4 inch piece of cucumber peeled and diced and 1 round for garnish
Ice

Method:
In a cocktail shaker muddle the torn basil, cucumber, lime juice. Add ginger syrup, basil vodka and ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass garnished with the round cucumber and whole basil leaves
