October 4, 2013 (WLS) -- Sometimes, a dessert like a cake or pie just needs that little something extra. To add some pizzazz to your next dessert, try a delicious orange and dried apricot sauce on top of your sweets!

Recipe for Apricot Sauce
Difficulty: Easy
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 Tablespoon water
1 cup dried apricots, sliced thinly
Preparation:
1. In a small saucepan, bring the orange juice and sugar to a boil with the apricots.
2. Make a slurry from the cornstarch and water. Pour the cornstarch slurry into the orange juice while whisking constantly. Bring back to a boil and remove from heat.
3. Let cool.
