PHILADELPHIA - March 6, 2012 (WPVI) -- The countdown is on to the annual Philly Spring Cleanup.
Mayor Michael Nutter announced the plans for the event at McPherson Square Park in Kensington this afternoon.
The "Keep Up the Sweep Up" event is being held, citywide on Saturday, April 14th. Right now, residents and organizations can sign up to volunteer and also submit project ideas. The deadline for project submission is March 30th.
