Freebie Friday: Museums, Paint, Projects and Haircuts

August 3, 2012 (WPVI) -- It's a freebie free-for-all with great offers from museums, hardware stores and salons.

Free general admission to more than 150 museums and cultural centers for all Bank of America or Merrill Lynch cardholders. Just show your card at the entrance to take part in the Museums on Us program the first full weekend of every month.

This Saturday you can get a free quart of Clark+Kensington Flat Enamel Paint at Ace Hardware in any color. Just print out the coupon and bring it into your local store. It's best to get there early for this one or call ahead. the offer is only good while supplies last.

Want to get the kids involved in some home improvement projects? Head to Home Depot Saturday for their hands-on "Build a Cork Bulletin Board" workshop. The event is open to children ages 5 to 12 and runs from 9 to noon.

Kids not only get to keep their project, they get a free apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.

We saved the best freebie for last. For the entire month of August, JC Penney is giving away free haircuts for kids in grades K through 6th. Just follow the link to set up an appointment. The sooner, the better with this deal as they'll probably book up fast.
