Adam Joseph

Adam Joseph
Adam Joseph, meteorologist on Action News at 4pm, 5:30pm and 10pm, joined 6abc in April of 2005. Adam graduated from Lyndon State College in May 2000. Adam's first on-air experience came in 1998 when he forecasted and anchored the weather on LSC-TV. Looking back, he laughs at his green performance, but cherishes the experience Lyndon was able to give him prior to earning his degree.

Adam started his career at WBOY-TV as the Chief Meteorologist in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Just 11 months later, he landed a job with WSAZ-TV in Charleston-Huntington, West Virginia where he worked as the weekend, and eventually, the weekday evening meteorologist and weather feature reporter. It was there that he received the prestigious AMS Seal of Approval for Television. Adam won many awards for best meteorologist while at WSAZ. Four years later, he moved to Philadelphia to join WPVI as the weekend meteorologist.

Adam loves the balance of fulfilling a lifetime passion of weather, while also tapping into the entertainment world with segments for FYI Philly, Down at the Shore, and participation in various programming specials and parades. Adam has been in the national spotlight, filling in on Good Morning America, and was voted Philadelphia's Best Meteorologist by Philadelphia Magazine.

Adam is strongly committed to making a difference in the community and is heavily involved with Hospice and the American Cancer Society. He enjoys weight lifting, running, biking, swimming, and just making every day count. He participated in his first triathlon in Richwood, West Virginia in 2001, and has since completed several additional triathlons.
