Matt Pellman

Prior to his arrival at Action News in November of 2005, Matt served as a traffic producer for various media outlets in Philadelphia and also spent time as a traffic reporter for a radio station in New York City. In addition to his responsibilities at Action News, Matt continues to work many mornings in Traffic.com's Philadelphia operations center and he continues to file reports for radio stations up and down the east coast.

Matt grew up in Lancaster, often watching Action News and traveling on many of the roads that he now covers. Matt moved to Philadelphia in early 2003 to attend Temple University. He graduated summa cum laude in late 2005 with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Matt lives in the East Falls section of the city. In addition to frequent trips back to Lancaster and to the Jersey shore, Matt also enjoys traveling farther afield. He can be found at bookstores on many Sunday afternoons, plotting his next adventure.
