Eva Pilgrim

Eva Pilgrim
Eva Pilgrim joined the 6abc Action News team in December, 2012. Before arriving in Philadelphia, Eva was an anchor/reporter at Fox59 in Indianapolis. She also spent time in Charlotte, NC, where she was the weekend anchor and reporter. Eva got her start in television working behind the scenes as a web producer at WIS-TV in Columbia, SC. She then moved on to WVVA in Bluefield, WV where she was the morning anchor and reporter.

Her reporting and investigative journalism has earned her several awards. While in Charlotte, Eva's reporting on taxi drivers who violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by neglecting people in wheelchairs won an award for investigative journalism. She was also nominated for an Emmy for her report on a woman who scammed dozens of military members across the country.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Eva grew up in a military family, moving all over the United States before her family settled in South Carolina. She attended the University of Florida and the University of South Carolina. While at the University of Florida, Eva was a member of the school's speech and debate team. She still enjoys a good argument.

Eva plays the violin and loves all types of music. She also enjoys running, mountain biking, skiing and hopping on her motorcycle to go for a ride.
