On Tuesday, my 15-year-old son, Billy, boarded the bus to begin his sophomore year in high school. I drove my 10-year-old, Micah, to his first day of 5th grade. The beginning of a new school year is always a hectic time. Children and teachers must get to know each other. For parents, there are a million forms to be filled out. School supplies need to be purchased. And extra-curricular activities, in our case music lessons, football and religious school, all get under way.
