Frank in Vineland: It looks like our backs are against the wall on this one. The government has no choice at this point. What they also need to do is hold accountable the lending institutions, specifically the CEO's and board members, that allowed mortgages to be given to people and businesses that could not afford to pay, selling them products that are very risky to say the least. Those people should pay this bill!! Our grandchildren and there children will be paying for it at this rate. So much for free enterprise! There has to be a system of checks and balances to prevent this in the future.
