Vesta Williams, '80s Rhythm and Blues singer, died on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at the age of 53.
She was found the following day in a Los Angeles hotel room. Williams is best known for her singles, 'Congratulations' and 'Once Bitten Twice Shy.' She also portrayed a saloon singer in the 1993 Mario Van Peebles film 'Posse.'
Though she was wideley reported to be 48, she confessed in a December 2010 Youtube video that she had recently turned 53.
