Action News viewers took out their cameras as a supermoon lit up the sky Saturday night and Sunday morning. A supermoon occurs when the moon is full and it's at the closet point to the earth - only 221,824 miles away. It's 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than an average full moon. Action News viewer Kelly Jordan sent in this photo of the supermoon over Maple Shade, New Jersey on June 22, 2013.
