Cumberland County College - Belle of the Ball - 6at4

WYNNEFIELD HEIGHTS - March 21, 2012 (WPVI) -- We are coming up on prom season and one South Jersey college is helping make the big dance special for girls having a hard time affording all the regalia.

Cumberland County College reached out to Alicia Vitarelli on her Facebook page asking for help collecting dresses and accessories for its "Belle of the Ball" dress drive.

We rounded up a group of women here at Action News and today donated some of their new and gently-used gowns. They are still taking donations at the school through March 30th.

Here are the donation guidelines:
* Dresses from 2000 to new in EXCELLENT condition and in ALL sizes and colors
* Any accessories including: purses, shoes, fancy jewelry, and wraps or shawls.
* Dresses must be clean and on hangers, or nicely folded.
* Dresses must be formal gowns or fancy party dresses.
* Accessories should be stylish, clean and in excellent condition.
* We cannot accept USED make-up, casual clothing, wedding dresses, tuxedos, and/or unclean garments.
