20 homeless following Allentown apartment fire

Fire ripped through two small apartment buildings in the Lehigh Valley, leaving 20 people homeless on Sunday.

The blaze broke out at 12:30 p.m. in converted row homes along the 500 block of 7th Street in Allentown.

It took almost two hours for crews to gain the upper hand.

Two people were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

There's no word yet on what caused the fire.

The Red Cross is finding temporary shelter for the displaced residents.
