Police investigate murder of woman in Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE - October 13, 2010 (WPVI) -- Police are investigating the murder of a woman in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.

The body of Stacey Blahnik was found Monday night on the 1800 block of Manton Street in Point Breeze.

She was found dead by her boyfriend with a pillow case around her neck.

Police believe she may have been strangled.

There is no word yet on the identity of a suspect.

Blahnik was well-known both locally and nationally through her work as a mentor through the "House of Blahnik" organization.
