A man was detained at an Atlantic City casino after he tried to steal frozen lobsters valued at a total of $1,200.

Just after 10:00 last Thursday night a security officer at Bally's Hotel Casino observed a man exiting a restricted area of the kitchen. Police later identified the man as 38-year-old Anthony Jones of the 200 block Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Aware that Jones was not a Bally's employee, the guard kept Jones under close surveillance. He noticed that Jones' appeared to be hiding something under his clothing. As it turns out Jones had concealed 91 frozen lobsters.

Jones was stopped by security as he attempted to exit the building.

Jones was arrested, and with an outstanding warrant from Egg Harbor Township he now faces charges including Criminal Trespass, Burglary, and Contempt of Court.
